"As a parent of a Special Needs child with a diagnosis of autism, I was struggling with being able to advocate for my child during the Placement and Planning Team (PPT) meetings with our school district. I am not only a mom to my child with autism, but also an educator to children with special needs. I knew what these meetings entailed, but the internal conflicts between loving my child while at the same time advocating for him without being so emotional proved to be quite difficult. I was an emotional wreck trying to advocate for the programming I knew would be the best for my child. I was at a loss, until I was introduced to Mona Tremblay. I couldn’t believe that there was someone who had similar experiences to mine and was willing to not only listen but to help me navigate the challenges my family was facing. She not only provided her advocacy services such as attending meetings with me, reviewing IEP documents, and ensuring the legal requirements were being met, but she provided support and friendship that I longed for. Having a child with autism is an experience like no other. Some days are easy, some so difficult that you just want to throw in the towel, but deep down inside I knew Mona Tremblay was with me. Our family was better because she became a part of our lives. I know advocacy is her “business,” but the way she handles each individual case with care, respect and commitment to each family ensures that their child’s rights are protected. Mona is not only an amazing advocate, but also a superhero mom to her own children with autism and now someone that I can say is a dear friend."

"I have known Mona for many years, but it was just this year that she came to the rescue of both myself (it’s very hard for a mother to watch her child slipping through the cracks, knowing something is wrong, and having nobody listen to what you have to say), and my son. I had tried and tried to get help for my son - having meetings with school admins and his teachers - all to no avail. Oddly enough, Mona walks into that school, and my child now has the help that he needs to succeed. Without her, I know that I would be an angry mess of tears, and my son would still be struggling horribly. As a professional, she is beyond amazing! Her dedication to the children and families that she is works with is beyond outstanding. As a person - you can find no better. Mona is kind, loving, compassionate, a should to cry on, or an ear to listen to angry rants. The level of caring that she gives goes above and beyond. I am so very thankful to have Mona in my life - as a friend and an advocate. Truly, I cannot thank her enough for all she has done and continues to do."

"Mona Tremblay has been our family advocate for my grandson for almost a year now. In that time she has accomplished more for my family than no others could. My grandson has had a very hard go of it losing his mother at an early age and currently is living with myself and his father. Mona was instrumental in recognizing all of his emotional and educational needs. Thanks to Mona, a plan is now in place for the school to follow. She is a wonderful person who has made a difference in my life by acknowledging the hardships that I have had with my grandson's behavior and not only is helping make sure his school needs are met, she also put me in line with an organization that is helping bridge the gap from school to home. I have nothing but admiration for her strengths and compassion she shows everyone she works with."

"Mona has helped me tremendously getting the best results in the education my children deserve. I have been going to PPT meetings for the past 5 years with no results because I was not sure what I was doing. Once I retained Mona as my advocate things started to take off. Now my daughter has an IEP set up and my son continues with his 504 plan.
Mona is so knowledgeable in the needs of special education students, she knows what they need and how to get it. She has made my life so easy when it comes to the needs of my children education. Without Mona's help both kids probably would slip through the cracks as they get older.
Mona is an amazing advocate she is so passionate in what she does. She looks through all the documents with a fine tooth comb and got each child exactly what they need. I would recommend Mona to any of my family and friends if they need help getting the educational needs of their children met. She is always willing to help when needed.
Once again I have to say that Mona is an amazing advocate, mother and friend."

"Mona Tremblay from MLT Consulting is the most professional and passionate special education advocate in the eastern side of Connecticut. Mona has supported both of my kids for over 10 years. She provides a quality service, she is very throughout, understands special education and 504 plan processes, laws and families needs. She has provided intensive record views, teaches families how to read their documents and how to advocate for their own kids. She is very respected in her role as an advocate with school districts and community providers. Mona is a wonderful asset to any team and family unit. I would recommend her to anyone that needs support, mentoring and guidance!"

"Mona is a warrior. She will fight as hard as she can for anyone. She makes it clear to families of what they are up against; but above and beyond Mona is amazing. She truly is and honestly gets "it". She surely is inspirational and will bring light into your troubles."
